Hamsas are a good-luck charm shaped like a palm with five fingers. The hamsa is a universally-recognized symbol, and has different interpretations in different religions. According to some Jews, each finger symbolizes one of the five books of Moses. In Kaddala, the hamsa symbolizes the hand of the Creator which defends from all evil.
